At Lehnsgaard, we take you back to the good old days when Danes made their own mustard by “crushing” the seeds in a wooden cask with a cannonball. Building on this proud tradition, we produce mild, strong and spicy mustards that will add an extra dimension to your dishes. Our mustard seeds, both yellow and brown, are grown locally.
Production takes place at Lehnsgaard on Bornholm in Denmark, where the seeds are gently cleaned and ground in our own stone mill, to give you the most authentic flavour. Our mustard also contains beer from the local brewery and our own rapeseed germ oil, which gives it wonderful body and depth. Lehnsgaard Bornholmske Mustard combines centuries of tradition with modern craftsmanship, so you can enjoy a flavour that is both rich and authentic.
